How did I feel during this run?
I was a bit tired after a poor night’s sleep, but that didn’t affect my run all that much.
What was I thinking about during this run?
I was actually thinking about the calf strain article that I am busy putting together.
How hard was I pushing?
Not too hard. Anything between 4:15 and 4:30 is a comfortable pace for me.
Did I perform 30+ Calf Raises after the session?
Yip. Daily calf raises are now part of my routine. They are ultimately the cornerstone of my running success. If I stop doing the calf raises, I invite the possibility of injury. It’s an easy decision to make.
Any other thoughts?
I mustn’t push myself too hard too early. I’m building a nice base level of strength and fitness. I now just need to start increasing the pace slightly with each new session.
