How did you feel during this run?
After realizing that my training approach wasn’t very sophisticated (when documenting my previous run on the 19th of November), I decided it was time to take my own medicine and introduce a distance run into the equation.
Did you learn anything from this run?
If anything, I learnt something before this run started. It’s no longer excusable to approach my training sessions without a specific objective. Every time I step on the treadmill or onto the road, I need to know exactly what I’m planning to achieve.
This is one of the first times that I’ve actually put this plan into motion.
What does your 5k Formula look like (great book title BTW)?
It’s pretty simple actually.
It’s essentially a loop that goes like this.
- Speed Training Session
- Distance Training Session
- Race Practice Session
That’s the formula that I’m going to follow for the next 4-8 weeks. Let’s see how it pans out
